Join Prince George's Council Chair Calvin Hawkins and the Maryland Black Mayors, Inc. for the 1st Annual "Second Chance Community Walk"! On Sunday, April 14th Council Chair Calvin Hawkins will partner with Maryland Black Mayors, Inc. and the Prince George's County Re-entry Advisory Board to cultivate community support for our family members, friends and neighbors who were formerly incarcerated and their families. This Community Walk will have local resources featuring a number of non-profits and Prince George's County agencies who work to serve Prince George's returning citizens. Hear testimonies from those in the Community and pray with local faith-based leaders before walking the Fairwood Community Park loop with other advocates and neighbors. This event requires pre-registration, temperature monitoring and socially-distanced practices in accordance with CDC guidelines.
