Entry level helper for machine shop

We are looking for a shop helper to assist us in our machine shop - no experience necessary. The position starts at $13/hour and will include benefits (health insurance, life insurance, paid sick days, paid holidays, vacation). We are located near the intersection of Loop 610 and 290. The requirements are: Must be able to come to work EVERY DAY Monday through Friday from 5:30am to 2:00pm. Must stay off your cell phone for the entire work day. Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record (no suspended licenses or DWI's for last 5 years) Must be able to pass a general physical and drug test. Must have a positive attitude. Please understand that this is not a desk job, you will be actively working and moving the entire day. Some of the responsibilities are cleaning metal shavings out of machines, driving a forklift (we will provide training to drive forklift), building wooden crates, loading and unloading trucks, sweeping up around the shop and emptying the trash into the dumpster, checking coolant and oil levels for machinery, running errands to drop off and pick up supplies, and various other tasks assigned by the shop foreman.
