What is nature journaling and how do you start? What is nature journaling and how do you start? In this beginner’s workshop, we’ll demonstrate techniques such as mark-making and gesture drawing, and practice this by sketching a natural object and making written observations. After this exercise, we’ll give tips on how to continue your own nature journaling practice. No prior experience required! Recommended materials: pencil/pen, sketchbook or sheets of paper, hard surface (like a clipboard). If you need any of these materials, let us know by emailing [email protected].
