Please join us & The Canvas Bowery NY to celebrate Water Equity and watch the progress made by the artisan community of Kaladera. Jaipur Complementary wine will be served throughout the evening. All attendees will automatically enter the BBCP raffle for a chance to win a surprise prize. Prizes will be awarded by the end of the evening. Please note: All COVID protocols will be followed including limited 30 capacity inside The Canvas and masks to be worn at all times. As population of the world increases, demand on water significantly increases too. Water scarcity is both a natural and a human-made phenomenon. There is enough freshwater on the planet for seven billion people but is distributed unevenly and too much of it is washed, polluted and unsustainably manage. Our goal is to encourage water conservation, reverse the effects of pollution and mitigate water scarcity in rural communities on which traditional livelihoods depend. With modern technological inputs , water harvesting structures can not only meet people’s basic water needs but also improve the food and livelihood security of global communities while restoring the environment. Restoring both surface and groundwater sources are gradual processes and we believe the only lasting solution to the problem of water scarcity. Join us and our partners to support communities with equitable access to water, and enable community stewardship and control over water resources through the creation and restoration of locally managed rainwater harvesting and water recharge systems.
