Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced building maintenance technician to at our residential apartment property located in Seattle (Queen Anne). Schedule is Monday to Friday with some weekend work from time to time, and being on-call for emergencies. JOB DESCRIPTION: Skill Set/Experience Requirements: Required Advanced Skills: Resident relations, minor electrical, minor plumbing, general carpentry, fire and life safety equipment and procedures, HVAC equipment, boiler equipment, tiling, regular landscaping and grounds keeping, waste and compactor, asbestos safety. [Experience with Roofing, major electrical, major pluming, minor concrete and paving repairs is also an asset] GENERAL DUTIES: Minor Electrical: Replacement of plugs, switches, light fixtures, light bulbs Ballasts Range hood replacement Wiring repairs Minor Plumbing: Pipe clamping, P-trap replacement Wash basin replacement Faucet repair/replacement Cartridges, spouts, diverters, washer replacement Toilet repairs/replacement Dishwasher replacement Servicing clogged drains General Building Maintenance: Plastering/paint repair Parquet flooring repair Carpet and Vinyl/Ceramic tile repairs/installation Kitchen/Bathroom cabinet repairs/replacement Counter top and vanity top replacement Baseboards/moldings Closet doors/organizers and shelving Door hardware, screen and door repairs/replacement Balcony and suite doors repairs/replacement Wallpapering Fire and life safety procedures and equipment maintenance General common area cosmetic repairs General grounds keeping and waste management
