Description

I need to re-home our two 1 year old brother cats, because we are losing our home. They are both neutered and have had their shots. They were found as kittens at about 6 months old on a friends farm. We took them in and now they are big sweethearts. My kids named them Mac & Cheese because they are orange, but also because because they jumped on the table and started ravenously eating my kids bowls of Mac & Cheese the first night we brought them home. Mac is the one with the white stripe going down his nose. He is very sweet but still a little skittish about being picked up. When we found him he had a big gash on his neck and tufts of fur missing. They were obviously attacked by something and both had broken tails. He couldn't meow at all at first, but now he can sometimes. Sometimes it is a quiet meow like a kitten and sometimes no sound comes out. He cannot purr really either... he tries but it sounds like an engine trying to start. He loves playing with toys with you (especially ones that make noise), getting his ears rubbed, and eating catnip. He also loves to cuddle, and sleeps on my daughters bed every night. Cheese is the one with the solid orange nose. He thinks he is the boss, but he is a huge sweetheart too. He loves to purr and knead you. He will sometime love nip your arm or try to nurse on it too. He loves playing with toys like the sticks with fabric or feathers on the end that he can chase, and only eats catnip because he saw his brother eat it, so he thinks he should too. He usually sleeps curled up with his brother or sometimes on my side in the middle of the night. They are very bonded and need to go to a home together. We are heartbroken to give them up, but have no other choice at the moment. Please give them a good home. They will come with their toys, catnip, carriers, and whatever food and litter is left. $50 to ensure a good home.
