Description

BEVERLY, MA — Resident feedback is being sought on two Beverly coastline projects with public forums in April. The city is conducting a feasibility assessment and developing conceptual designs for green infrastructure at Obear Park, as well as a vulnerability assessment and feasibility study for the Beverly Pump Station on Water Street. The goal is to provide long-term protection for both sites. The Obear Park forum is April 15 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. with the public invited to attend and provide input. The forum will discuss the effects of climate change on the park and include a question-and-answer session with city staff. The pump station public forum is April 29 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. That forum will discuss how the pump serves Beverly and surrounding communities and how to protect it from long-term climate impacts. That meeting will also include a question-and-answer session with the city and SouthEssex Sewerage District staff. Links to attend both meetings can be found here. Did you find this article useful?
