Description
ARLINGTON, MA — The Arlington Police Department is warning of a new scam targeting area residents.
The scam involves people driving down the street offering to do work on residents' driveways, police said.
Last year, police in Waltham said solicitors were knocking on doors claiming they had extra, or leftover, pavement and could offer a "good deal" on driveway repaving.
This often results in the solicitor running out of pavement and raising the price dramatically when he returns to finish the job, police said.
