A very well established Tree Company is looking for a well experienced tree climber with five years experience. Good pay for the right individual. We service all of Savannah and all of its surrounding areas. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1- Follows oral and written duties and procedures for each. 2- Climbing trees with tree climbing equipment. 3- Must know proper knots for tree work. 4- Proper and safety while operating chainsaws and equipment. 5- Observes all safety policies and wears the required Personal Protective Equipment at all times. 6- Keeps work area clean and orderly. 7- Employees work outside. Employees must be prepared to work in hot and tough weather conditions at times. 8- Must be able to work well with others. 9- Must be physically able to lift 130lbs continuously 10- Must have reliable transportation 11 - Must have a legal Drivers License 12- Must be familiar with all safety requirements necessary to operate a wood chipper. 13- Must be familiar with all safety requirements necessary to operate a stump grinder. 14- Required five years experience climbing trees 15- Owning your own climbing equipment or chainsaws are not required but highly recommended. Owning your own equipment equals higher wages. 16- Weekend work and Overtime mandatory if needed. This is physically demanding work. So, if you cannot handle hard work please do not apply!
