PUYALLUP, WA — A teenager was killed and three others hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash just outside Puyallup Wednesday afternoon. The Pierce County Sheriff's Department first reported the crash around 2 p.m., saying a high speed crash on Pioneer Way had closed the road in both directions at Stewart Street. The road was expected to remain closed through the evening, and commuters were advised to avoid the area if possible. Pioneer Way will be closed into the evening commute. Please plan ahead as alternate routes will be crowded.
