DIY Takuan Kit Fundraiser benefiting Japantown Prepared and Yu-Ai Kai DIY Takuan Kit and 'How To' FundraiserLearn to make your own takuan and help to raise funds for SJ Japantown’s Citizen’s Foot Patrol and Yu-Ai Kai Senior Center at the same time! Only 50 kits available so order now! Pick-up of your kit will be at Yu-Ai Kai on Thursday, April 8th or Friday, April 9th. You will also receive a YouTube link on April 8 to view 'How-To Takuan with Randy Ando'. Thursday, April 8 & Friday, April 9 - 4:00-5:00pm (pick up kits)$20 per kit - includes daikon, all pickling ingredients, a 32oz. glass jar and Trader Joe's shopping bag to hold everything!Drive-thru pick-up will be at the Yu-Ai Kai’s main building. Please be sure to select the appropriate kit/ticket(s) when ordering - either April 8 or April 9.Sales begin April 1, 2021. Quantities are limited so order early!
