MIDDLETOWN, CT - A Middletown resident is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in town earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On March 30, Lassaad Cheniti, of Middletown, purchased a Powerball ticket from the HNZ Petro Plus in Middletown and won $50,000.
