SILVER HILL, MD — Officials said a Silver Hill blaze burned two firefighters and a civilian and on Tuesday. All three went to an unnamed hospital, an incident report noted. The write-up added that doctors released the injured crew members the same day. The fire department did not give an update on the civilian, but it mentioned that they were in stable condition when they left for the hospital. The press release informed that the fire caused $200,000 in damage and displaced an adult and a child. The Prince George's County Office of Emergency Management is helping the affected residents, the release indicated. First responders reported that they found the occupants waiting outside the two-story townhome engulfed in flames. Investigators do not yet know what caused the fire or where it started.
