ECHO is currently looking for volunteers to help with the Registration Desk starting April 2021 from 4:30pm - 6:00pm. Available days will vary. The Registration volunteer welcomes clients to dinner and signs them in for their nightly meal. The volunteer also helps with shelter applications, and helps to answer basic shelter/program questions. This position is best suited for people who enjoy working with others in a supportive role. Training for this position will be provided during the volunteer's first few shifts. ECHO (El Camino Homeless Organization) provides shelter for some of the homeless men, women, and children in SLO County 365 nights a year.
