Description
LIVERMORE, CA — Patch reader Glenn Stewart captured this photo of an early morning fisherman at the Old Oak Road quarry pond.
Here's what he said:
"Did you know that the best time to go fishing is in the morning. This is when fish come out to eat and are the most active. By late morning, the sun is too high. This makes fish more visible to predators, and causes the fish to go into hiding." You don't need to be a photojournalist to take a great picture on your cell phone. If you've documented some gorgeous scenery, captured kids being kids, a pet doing something funny or anything else unusual, we'd love to feature it on Patch.
We're looking for high-resolution images that reflect the beauty of Northern California, and that show off your unique talents.
