Seeking a take charge self-starter to help in all operational aspects of local a tile distribution company. We are the branch office of Fitzgerald Tile in Portland, ME and look forward to finding the right person to welcome to our team!
Job duties include:
- Pulling material and building pallets
- Receiving trucks and putting away material
- Operating a sit down and a stand up fork lift
- Loading customer vehicles
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Learn basic software for the companies ordering and inventory system
- Answering phones, entering customer orders
- Helping walk in customers
This is a duel position of warehouse work and customer service.
The right candidate must be able to lift 50-80 lbs repeatedly. High School diploma or GED required. Previous fork lift and warehouse experience a plus. A positive attitude and customer service skills a must.
Pay is $17-19 per hour based on experience, with a raise opportunity based on performance after 60 days.
Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm – This schedule includes 2.5 hours of overtime paid at time and a half.
