Building Blocks is a community outreach program of the Thornton Heights United Methodist Church since 1987. The church, as a nurturing body supporting the family, recognizes the need for quality child care in the community. We strive to provide young children with the very best care possible and to promote their optimal development through appropriate play and activities. The staff at Building Blocks will strive daily to provide your child with love, individual attention, educational and developmentally appropriate experiences. Our primary goals are to provide each child a stable, secure and happy environment so the s/he may grow in self-expression, love, trust and with a positive self image. Building Blocks Learning Center has several Childcare openings! We work with children ages 1-10. We are open Monday-Friday 630am-530pm. We have openings in our Toddler Program (ages 1-2), Explorer Program (ages 3-4) and our Pre-School Program (ages 4-5). We also provide before and after school care for children attending Skillin School. We provide two snacks. We accept most Government Assistance Programs as well!
