Valparaiso Chocolate Walk Brought to you by Valparaiso EventsTicket-holders will join Valparaiso Events on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 12-4pm for a day of chocolate bliss! Attendees will start at the Valparaiso Events office, located at 150 W. Lincolnway Ave. Suite 1006 to receive their Chocolate Walk map, bag to hold their chocolate goodies and lanyard signifying their participation in the walk that also serves as their punch card. Two Sessions are offered stepping off at 12pm and 2pm to allow for social distancing. All chocolate stations will be located outside businesses throughout downtown. Masks are strongly encouraged. Follow the map to visit some of downtown Valparaiso's treasured destinations and receive a tasty chocolate sample at each. Plan to browse through the stores, or stop for lunch or dinner along the way!  With samples donated from some of Valpo's top candy makers, bakers, & ice cream shops, all money raised from ticket sales will help fund our many free and family friendly events held all year long in beautiful Valparaiso.  For information about all of our events, visit us at here. FAQsAre there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? There is no age limit for attendees. But every attendee, no matter the age, needs a ticket to participate in the event to receive chocolate treats. The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? Yes. You can buy up to 4 tickets per transaction and they can all be under your name, but given to other attendees.  Is my registration/ticket transferrable? Yes. How am I identified as a Chocolate Walker?  Upon check-in, you will be given a lanyard that signifies that you are a participant and also serves as your punchcard so you can only receive one sample per location.  What do I need to bring for the Chocolate Walk?  You will be walking about 1-2 miles so wear a comfortable pair of shoes. You will be outside most of the time, so correct clothing for the weather is important.  Where do I start?  Attendees will start at the Valparaiso Events office, located at 150 W. From there you are welcome to go in any direction you want! Where should I park? Downtown Valparaiso has many options for free parking such as city streets and lots. You can find a parking map on our website here: http://valparaisoevents.com/parking-map/ The Porter County Administration Building has a public parking garage located at Indiana and Napoleon for $.50 per car.  How does my ticket benefit the community?
