We are a very active doggy daycare in Oceanside looking for the right individual to join our team. Shifts are 4-5 hours long in the daycare yard, you must be able to be active for the entire time interacting with large groups of dogs PLEASE NOTE THE ACTIVITY LEVEL IS VERY HIGH!. For the right individual this position will cross train and can work up to 15-30 plus hours a week if desired. We are an indoor facility and your responsibility will be monitoring all dogs and cleaning up after them (AT A FAST PACE). Attendance and a positive attitude is critical, since it is a very physical position please note when applying for the position that you will be moving at a fast pace the entire time you are working your shift. If you are passionate about dogs and want a very active job this maybe the perfect fit for you.This is not a job for someone that wants to babysit and hold the dogs, we are active and you are moving quickly with the dogs. If you have not been around big dogs this will not be the job for you. You must have reliable transportation and be at least 18 years old. We are not like any other daycare we do not just stand around, supervise the dogs you will be loud and interactive running and throwing balls keeping the dogs moving. If you have not been in groups of dogs and know you can handle large dogs and be assertive yet loving please do not apply as we are very busy and this is not a position you can get comfortable in time. You do not need any prior doggy daycare experience as we are totally different than any other facility out there. If you have prior knee or back issues this is not the right job for you as you are running or jogging half the time and it requires a lot of bending over quickly this position is basically a contact sport. Please take the time to tell me why this is the job for you and explain any brief experience you have with dogs when you apply. If there is no experience and no cover letter explaining why you want to work here it will be looked at as you are just applying for any job out there- If this is the case I won't move forward without a cover letter.
