Join us for a day full of fun centered around Literacy! On May 16th we will be Celebrating Our Friend Malcolm at the MLK Park from 2PM-8PM! The inaugural "Celebrating My Friend Malcolm X Book Festival at MLK Park" will be held in Winter Park, FL, every third Sunday in May in honor of El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, formerly known as Malcolm X. Enjoy a festive atmosphere that celebrates the birthday of the activist, orator, and author we know as, Malcolm X. This festival has a day filled with fun activities for the entire family! Visit authors, publishers, writers, and poets showcasing their latest literary works, participate in various creative workshops, and join us for storytelling that highlights Afrocentric folklore!
