Press release from the University of Alaska Anchorage: April 1, 2021 Congratulations, Class of 2021! Save the date: Links to view these ceremonies will be posted on UAA's commencement website. Know the steps to participate: Apply for graduation A graduation application must be submitted to participate in UAA's virtual ceremonies. For application steps, visit Graduation & Degree Services. Remember these deadlines: April 2, 2021 – Deadline to apply for spring graduation and to be recognized in the spring commencement ceremony and program April 23, 2021 – Late deadline to apply for spring graduation Customize your personal commencement slide We have teamed with MarchingOrder so UAA's 2021 graduates can create a personal slide including a photo, quote and have the opportunity to pre-record your name to be read aloud during UAA's virtual ceremonies. Graduates who have already applied for graduation will receive an email in early March with instructions to log into the MarchingOrder website to upload this information. Those who apply by April 2 will receive an email with these instructions within three business days of submitting an application. All name recordings must be complete by April 5. All other slide details must be complete by April 13. Join us for the ceremonies! Invite friends near and far to watch your commencement by tuning in to the ceremonies on UAA's commencement website. Master's and doctoral candidates will be celebrated at the graduate degree hooding ceremony Saturday, May 1 at 3 p.m. All graduates will be celebrated at the commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 2 at 1 p.m. These events will be launched promptly at these times, and available for viewing any time after that.   Looking for graduation announcements, regalia, class rings or diploma frames?
