TRUSSVILLE, AL — One of the busiest food businesses in Trussville since pandemic began last spring has been Meals By Misty, a homecooked meal service that offers full meals customers can pick up and cook at home. The owner, Misty Westover, is expanding her business into Homewood, according to the Trussville Tribune. The first official day of business for the Homewood location will be Thursday. When restaurant safety restrictions were mandated across the state due to the pandemic, Meals By Misty saw its business increase significantly, and Westover told the Trussville Tribune she found an opportunity to expand further into the Birmingham metro. The Homewood location is at 2900 Crescent Avenue. Hours at the Homewood location are the same as the Trussville location, and the menu is also the same.
