$20/21 Fun drive. Hillsboro, OR, on Saturday, April 3, 2021 The Kiwanis Club of Hillsboro is organizing a collection drive to benefit the Inukai Boys and Girls Club. Items identified on the Boys & Girls Club Wish List include: earphones with microphone (used for virtual learning with Chromebooks on-loan from schools); disposable kids facial masks, sanitizing products such as: anti-bacterial soap, disinfecting wipes; cleaning products which include: multi-purpose cleaning spray, disposable gloves, Kleenex tissues, paper towels; and health & beauty aid products such as: toothbrush/paste, dental floss, soap bars, anti-blemish items, cleansing towelettes, deodorant, shaving foam/razors. The Boys & Girls Clubs will not be accepting clothing and seeks only items that are new and in its original packaging using precautionary practices during the pandemic. April 3 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, community donations can be dropped at SE Baseline and SE 2nd Avenue, in the Grocery Outlet Parking lot Hillsboro. Look for pop-ups and banners. The Boys & Girls Club also seeks monetary donations to continue operating its programs for local youth.
