DEKALB COUNTY, GA — The DeKalb County Board of Health will operate its COVID-19 vaccination and testing sites, as well as the call center, on a modified schedule for the Good Friday holiday and into Saturday. The board announced the changes Thursday. Changes in operations are as follows: Doraville MARTA Station (Vaccination Site) Friday: ClosedSaturday: Open 9 a.m.-noonFormer Sam's Club in Stonecrest (Vaccination Site) Friday: Open 9 a.m.-noonSaturday: ClosedGreater Piney Grove in East Atlanta (Testing Site) Friday: ClosedSaturday: ClosedBoard of Health COVID-19 Call Center Friday: Open 9 a.m.-noonSaturday: Open 9 a.m.-noonAppointments and registration for COVID-19 testing are required and can be done online. Testing is free and is open to anyone. Additionally, the DeKalb Board of Health has transferred all its COVID-19 registration and appointments to the Georgia Department of Public Health's vaccine registration solution system. For those without computer or internet access, the GDPH has commissioned a new vaccine scheduling hotline at 888-457-0186. The hotline is staffed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Languages other than English are offered via the hotline, a press release said. Those wanting to be vaccinated can also register online at My Vaccine Georgia's website. Vaccine appointments made through this website will be administered by the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS). The nearest GEMA/HS mega site for DeKalb County is at the Delta Flight Museum near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
