WOBURN, MA — Woburn's coronavirus numbers held steady in the latest town-by-town report from the Department of Public Health, while the city's vaccination count gave cause for hope. The city's positive test rate over the last two weeks was 2.79 percent, up from 2.71 percent the week before. The caseload fell from 125 to 121. The vaccination drive continues to hold good news. Nearly one in five Woburn residents has been fully vaccinated, according to the latest state data. And more than a third of the city has gotten at least one shot. >>Town-By-Town Coronavirus Stats: MA Hits 600K Cases The state labeled 55 communities as high risk for the coronavirus Thursday in the latest town-by-town report from the Department of Public Health, up from 32 in the previous report. The full list of high-risk communities is available at the end of this story. The seven-day average positive test rate for the state rose to 2.49 percent, up from 2.39 percent a week prior.
