Agorus automates the manufacturing of wood-framed panels in a controlled factory setting, then ships those panels to be installed at the jobsite for a fully framed home in a matter of days.   We are looking for experienced framing carpenters who are eager to use their skillset and help us drive innovation in the residential construction space, both in the factory and on the jobsite. Job brief: We are looking for a qualified Framing Carpenter to cut, fabricate and install wooden components according to specifications. Your job will entail working in our factory and/or on the jobsite. You should have great hand dexterity and an eye for detail, as well as good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is for you to leverage your career experience to contribute to the manufacturing process of wood framed panels, onsite framing installation, and the overall improvement of our product and processes. Responsibilities: Read blueprints, shop drawings and sketches to fully understand requirements Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed Cut, shape and install lumber according to measurements Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items Build scaffolding and other construction structures Requirements: Proven experience as a framing carpenter Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.) Ability to read technical documents and drawings Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times Good knowledge of English Good understanding of basic math Good physical condition and endurance Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is required Benefits: Guaranteed year round work Medical and dental health plan (after 30 days) 401K (after 6 months) PTO Lunch and beverages provided Salary range: $18-30/hr
