We are looking for a talented individual to join our detailing team. Must have at least 2 years experience buffing and polishing paint on vehicles. Our shop is a mix of collision repair jobs and retail detailing. The detail side offers all facets of options to our customers so we have a full menu for our customers to choose from. Qualifications: Detailing: 2 year (Required) Driver's License (Required) High school or equivalent (Preferred) Full Job Description: Responsible for performing a thorough cleaning of all vehicles prior to repair and final delivery to the customer. Visually inspect every vehicle for flaws in the repaired area(s) Provide support to the repair center by shuttling customers and vehicles to the appropriate location May be required to assist with scanning vehicles ADAS systems Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment in the detail department; keep personal work area organized and returns tools, materials and equipment to designated areas. Clay bar & Polish exterior of vehicle with both Rotary & Random Orbital tools to remove scratches & scuffs. This duty will require at least one year of polishing experience...preferably at least two. Thoroughly Clean & Shampoo interior of vehicle Apply Ceramic Coatings & waxes Skill Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license Must have at least two years experience professionally detailing vehicles. Experience buffing and polishing automotive paint is a must. At least two years experience would be preferred. Strong communication skills Quality work ethic & punctuality are a must. Well groomed, professional appearance Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Position is based in a normal shop environment. Occasional physical activity such as reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping to inspect repairs, and lifting and carrying objects over 50lbs. Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, along with high levels of noise. Subject to weather conditions both inside and outside. Required to wear protective equipment when necessary.
