There was an ad posted for German shepherd mix puppies describing a female and a male that were still available but with no pictures. I emailed the contact to let them know and ask for pictures to which they asked for my cell phone number so they could text me info. Upon receiving this persons text they asked several time to send me a code to verify that I am not a scammer. Luckily I had a feeling something was off and texted from an app. The phone number the person used had a 216 area code and they would not send pictures of the puppies with out me agreeing for them to send me a code. Same ad was posted several times and different locations around Sacramento area. Beware and stay safe Craigslist!
