Future Artist Residency in Upstate NY (Catskills) © craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap Within the next 3-6 months a new artist residency will be offered to qualified artists to stay in the Catskills in a multi-family/commercial unit, anywhere from 1 to 3 months (maximum). Residency will include: -A bed in a shared room with 1 or 2 other artists; -Access to all common areas -Dedicated studio space/workspaces -*Maximum number of artists at 1 time would be 7 artists, 5 being residencies (room and board provided), and 2 full fee slots that would require the artist to pay $2,500/mo (the paid residency would not require you to go through a juried application process). This residency offers a retreat away from city life, and support from other artists and the opportunity to collaborate creatively with other like minded individuals. Basically a home away from home, so you can focus on your creativity. By replying to this, you will also help us gage interest and build a mailing list to keep interested individuals apprised of the status of this venture. We are currently looking at properties upstate, so it will depend on securing a property and any additional funding we may need to sponsor artists. *Number of artists is subject to change based on how many rooms we are able to secure in a property.
