5 year old male St bernard lab mix

Chewbacca is 5 years old, not fixed. We've come to the conclusion we need to rehome him. He is NOT a family dog. He does no like small children. Hes been good with older teenagers and adults but is aggressive with children. He also is bed aggressive/possessive. We have 2 more babies coming into the household and he is just too much of a risk to them and the 1 year old already in the home. He has been limited to one room in the house to keep him away from the one year old and has started acting out due to that matter he also is not good with other male dogs, he does well with female dogs as long as they aren't snippy toward him... he all around is a good dog. He can take time to warm up to new people but we really want to see him find a good home willing to give him a chance and the time to get comfortable. He loves balls and playing fetch and being outdoors, he has a very...cat like personality as people say. He likes to rub up on people and definitely thinks hes smaller then he is. His name goes along well with some of his weird noises he makes. He also makes a pretty great guard dog as most people are scared of his loud deep bark. He use to LOVE everyone up until living situations changed and a baby came into our lives. I feel that he can definitely go back to that happy self without kids in the home and more freedom again. He has bit the one year old in the home while she was tiny. And 1 person when they were touching him while he was in his bed.. he currently is showing aggression as a response to his lack of freedom in the house and has a refusal to eat when he is not allowed to roam more then the one room in the house. When said child is in bed and he is allowed in more areas of the house he does calm down and usually will eat.
