I have an 8 year old special needs ragdoll mix in need of a good home. We had a baby several months ago and she has become more and more stressed by this change, hiding under the bed all day. She will do best in a home with no young children. She does also get startled easily and will sometimes flail when spooked which makes her unsafe to have around a baby. She is on a special diet that her adopter must be willing to continue feeding as she has inflammatory bowel disorder, as well as an anxiety medication which we get at walmart pharmacy for $2/month. She also needs regular brushing to prevent hairballs. Although she requires some special care, this cat will give you back tenfold what you give her. There has truly never been a sweeter cat. She enjoys being held and even if she is in a deep sleep, you can pick her up, put her in your lap for cuddles, and she will stay there for hours. She is indifferent to other animals and has no reaction to small or large dogs, other cats, or ferrets, so any pets you already have will be no problem for her. She just wants to be around people. The level of love and affection she will give you is truly undescribable. It breaks my heart to re-home her but I know there is someone out there who can give her a better life than I am able to. She loves to give head boops and will let you carry her around the house like a baby as she purrs. We are willing to wait as long as necessary to find the right home for her so we are going to be very picky about potential adopters. We will require a home visit however we can bring her to you.
