Powers Products Co. is currently looking to Installers for our overhead door and daylighting divisions. Powers is a leader in the architectural design and build sector. We are a small company who prides ourselves on a family feel. Essential Functions: • Professional representation of Powers Products on project jobsites • Follows direction from Foreman and Superintendent and completes assigned tasks with a high degree of quality and efficiency • Follows installation procedures • Learns to read contract drawings and follow product installation procedures • Unload/load material from/to trucks and trailers • Distribute material to final location • Daily job cleanup • Operate lift equipment (with training) • Follows Powers’ Safety policies Qualifications: • Reliable with strong work ethic • Mechanical aptitude and comfort level operating hand and power tools (training provided) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to make calculations • Ability to organize and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice • Recognize problems and ask questions • Professional demeanor and attitude • Mindset for quality • Desire to learn and grow in or business. • Ability to work independently and with a team • Must have own set of basic tools • Ability to travel out of town/overnight occasionally • Ability to work overtime and/or after hours as necessary Education • High School Diploma or GED Work Experience • 1 year construction experience preferred Pay Range: $18-22/hour Drug Testing Required Powers Products is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
