Powers Products is an architectural design and build firm. We are currently seeking Foremen for Daylighting and Overhead Door divisions. JOB SUMMARY Performs a wide variety of duties related to construction, installation and the assembly of architectural products. Is a leader on the job site and frequently interacts with Contractors, Architects and Owners. Essential Functions • Professional representation of Powers in the field • Unload/load material from/to trucks and trailers • Distribute material to final location • Follows and trains installers & laborers on Powers Safety policies, products, installation procedures • Read and follow contract drawings & product installation procedures • Train installers & laborers on reading contract drawings • Assesses jobsite hazards and plans accordingly • Provides direction to laborers and installers • Takes direction from Superintendent & Project Manager • Learns to communicate with GC superintendent and conveying necessary information to Powers Project Manager • Learns to field measure for products • Able to manage small projects with small crews (2-4 men) of installers and laborers. • Learns quality control expectations • Pre-planning of install to ensure materials, equipment, tools, and jobsite readiness • Operate required equipment • Documents field activities effectively   QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
