My house is in the midst of green-building renovation. I am an ex-contractor (and have done much of the work), but I'm also busy with other things. The house was gutted, and is now past framing inspection, so: insulation, sheetrock, finish carpentry, & floors are all coming, in addition to a bunch of landscaping. I'd like someone who has a good attitude, broad building experience, good communication skills, is honest and values creativity... I need to know that you can show up, focus your efforts and stay organized, be self-starting, and take initiative. I have all the tools, but a few basic hand tools can be helpful. Timing is flexible: I expect I would need you 1-5 days per week, lots of flexibility about timing. I might be able to keep you busy for a while if you're good and focused. It is very simple: I will only be responding to people who fill out that form. Pay: I don't know you. The form asks you to state your required wage. It should reflect your experience. If it's too high, I probably won't hire you, but I also don't want you resenting the pay, so be realistic, and if necessary help me understand why you're worth what you're asking.
