Pauley Construction, LLC is looking for an entry level Material Handler to work out of our Brighton, Colorado office. Forklift experience preferred but not required. This position will be working loading and unloading materials in a warehouse environment, organizing, and tracking materials and traveling to and from job sites to deliver materials as needed. Overview: This position will be responsible for receiving and maintaining inventory of materials used by the field crews. The position will use an inventory software to assist in tracking items. They will assist the Material Handling Supervisor in making sure the yard and all materials are stored properly and the yard cleanliness is maintained. This position may assist in inspections as well as prepare periodic audits as needed. This position will be staging materials in the warehouse on a per job basis, ensure accuracy of materials used for jobs by tracking inventory and will be traveling to our Gillette and Cheyenne as needed to assist with job completion. Will be required to assist with other laborer/material handler duties as assigned.  Depending upon the location and structure of the region; this position may also assist with other laborer or admin related duties as assigned by their direct manager. Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 hourly. Responsibilities: Material Tracking of incoming/outgoing materials used by field crews As-built drafting Job closings Picking up materials from customers General yard/warehouse duties including stocking, cleaning and make sure items are stored as needed. May conduct field inspections May assist with administrative related duties as well including collecting paperwork and timesheets from local staff; checking for accuracy and turning over to local office admins for final review. Other related laborer duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be a minimum of 21 years old to drive company vehicles/operate company equipment. Valid driver’s license is required for this position Must be able to effectively communicate with managers, coworkers and customers. Be available to work overtime and emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. General computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office products. Maintain a positive attitude with managers, coworkers, and customers. Maintain good public relations (interact with the public in a courteous manner) Must have reliable transportation Basic ability to use small tools/hand tools 1-2 years or more previous industry experience preferred Must have strong physical endurance for hot weather conditions, repetitive bending, stooping, lifting, transferring equipment and materials up to 50 pounds. (100 pounds when carrying with a team member) Must be able to clearly see, hear and be able to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. May be exposed to heights from 25 to 50 feet.
