G.I. Johns is looking to grow its team with a Pump Truck Driver! G.I. Johns is a new and rapidly growing veteran-owned business that provides portable sanitation solutions. The Pump Truck Driver will be responsible for operating a service pump truck and driving to various routed locations around the Northern Virginia, Southern Maryland, and Washington D.C. area in order to deliver and service portable toilets, portable sinks, and other equipment. This role will also focus on customer service, business development, and problem solving. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: * Provide outstanding customer service. * Drive and operate a service pump truck following a designated route. * Deliver, service, pump, and clean portable restrooms, portable sinks, trailers, holding tanks, etc. following company guidelines. * Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections following company guidelines. * Follow all established safety rules and procedures. * Regular and reliable attendance. * Perform duties that can include sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and or lifting/pushing between 25 and 100 lbs. Qualifications: * Satisfactory performance of the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations for disability will be provided as needed. * A current valid driver's license (CDL is a plus, but not required for the job). * Five years of driving experience. Prior work experience in a driving position is a plus, but not required. * A good Motor Vehicle Record meeting the company's required standards. * Ability to demonstrate professional behavior and strong work ethic.
