Dispatcher/Delivery Assurance Inspector Reports to: Assistant Distribution Manager (NON DM Markets)/Distribution Manager Job Purpose: Under the direction of the ADM/DM this position is responsible for utilizing the company GPS Tracking System and a Laptop in order to inspect that all Independent Contractor’s deliver Printed Advertising Packages according to client requirements. This position also under the direction of the DM assists the DM with daily office tasks. Job Duties: · Stages client Printed Advertising Packages according to established guidelines set forth by the ADM/DM o Required use of manual pallet jacks, motorized pallet jacks, forklifts or other warehouse tools to vary by client expectations tools provided. o Staging can be comprised of moving pallets with provided equipment and/or moving bundles from one pallet to another manually (by hand). · Assists and supports the DM with pre-delivery and post-delivery tasks and analysis in order to ensure the accurate delivery of Printed Advertising Packages by the IC’s. · Utilizes the GPS Tracking System in order to track and locate IC’s within their assigned delivery areas. · Analyze data utilizing the Tracking System to determine whether the IC assigned delivery areas are being completed to meet client requirements. · Assist the IC’s, if necessary, to trouble shoot the GPS Tracking application and reset units if necessary in order reestablish tracking. 1 · Monitor IC tracking utilizing the Tracking System in order to communicate with IC’s in case there appears to a lack of total coverage within an assigned delivery area. · Immediately communicate with the DM if Delivery Assurance Inspection results do not meet client requirements and fall below client standards. · Inspect delivery with the assigned delivery area ensuring the placement of product meets client requirements and sporadically inspects that the Printed Advertisement package is dry and in good conditions, and is also packaged according to client requirements (Rubber Banded or bagged). · Inspect delivery within the assigned delivery area ensuring that delivery Address List is being honored according to client requirements. · Accurately completes and saves Delivery Assurance Inspection Report within the Delivery Assurance Inspection electronic folder at the end of the work shift. · Accurately completed on a daily basis company time sheet. · Any additional duties that are assigned by the DM or Operations.
