Dock Worker Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for qualified candidates for a Dock Worker for a multi-regional logistics company in Portland. This is a great opportunity for a full time or part time position in a warehouse doing shipping and receiving. Type: Full time Shifts Available: 2:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday - Friday with overtime potential 3:30pm - 1:00am, Friday with overtime potential Pay: $15/hour with $1/hr attendance and performance incentive Job Duties: Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in will call area Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards Assist in counting physical inventory Prepare product for shipping Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times Job Requirements: 1-2 years previous warehouse experience Alertness and attention to detail Dependable and reliable Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills Steel toed boots are required Physical Demands and Abilities: Regularly lift and/or move objects 50 lbs Frequently required to stand for long periods of time, walking, reaching, and bending Our application process is EASY!
