Shipping and Production Position with Printing Company

The primary responsibility of this position is to run our shipping department. The shipping person must be detail oriented, comfortable & efficient with computers and able to lift 35lbs regularly. You should be a customer service orientated person that is friendly, welcoming and helpful with all customers/suppliers, whether on the phone, email or in person. This position involves being on your feet for the majority of the day. We ship out ~50 packages a day on average via Fedex, UPS, USPS and courier services. Priorities often shift throughout the day, so it is necessary to be comfortable and willing to pivot at a moments notice to accommodate the situation. This is a fast-paced production environment. In addition to shipping, the candidate will help in other areas of our production facility including prepress, bindery and/or in the digital printing department. We estimate the position will be about 60% shipping and 40% production. The position will start as part-time and we expect it to rapidly transition to a full time role. Experience is a plus, but motivated, hard-working, reliable people are encouraged to apply as we are happy to train the right person.
