MAINTENANCE WORKER needed for a 24-unit Apartment Complex in Orange Grove, TX (Jim Wells County) (50% of the work week) and for a 28-unit Apartment Complex in San Diego, TX (Duval County) (50% of the work week). This is a full time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, 40 hours per week, and some on-call for after-hours and weekend emergency maintenance repairs. Candidates must have experience and knowledge of basic apartment complex operations, various phases of maintenance (including drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical, rehab and appropriate type of heating and air conditioning equipment), materials and equipment used in maintenance and repair. Must have experience and knowledge of type and uses of common hand tools, power tools, and other tools used in maintenance and rehab, and the ability to perform manual tasks requiring physical strength and endurance. Candidates must be dependable and have a good work ethic. We require a background check.
