We are a San Antonio local unplugged/acoustic band looking for like minded individual(s) that are looking for not only something fun, but also something a bit more on the committed side of music. What started as a fund get together on my property wound up becoming a little more seious than we expected. We get together every weekend and practice songs from the nineties, and early 2000's as well as some classic rock from the 70's and 80's. We really enjoy the live unplugged sound running acoustic guitars and bass through a PA system. We are sort of hybrid, as we do you some elements of a live amplified setup as well. As of now we are 2 guitars, and a singer that has actually becomoe pretty good at his part although that was not his original part. I personally have been in bands for well over 30 years and have played in several local bands that played big venues, with all original material. I am the oldest of the bunch, but the others are in their 30's. We are looking for a serious bass player, some singing, and maybe eventually a keyboard player if one happens to materialize. We have over an hour of cover songs (one original), and another 1 1/2 hour of more songs were are working on. Our primary goal is to have fun and make some good music, and from there perhaps play some parties and local venues. Eventually the main goal will be to come up with many of our own original material. I oan my own home stuido (it's a pretty decent one), so we have access to laying down some pretty high definition tracks and mixes.
