Description
Check out our band D.A.R.+WiNi$M. Jamming out. https://fb.watch/4BJEI_7DaG/ My name is Dion Anthony Ruben and I am the founder and CEO of 4GoodnessSake, a new non-profit in Chicago's Englewood area. I want to help bring some positive change to my neighborhood and can use some help. https://gofund.me/013e053b 4GoodnessSake (4GS) Together We Stand Tolerance.Integrity.Empathy.Respect To build, inspire, and empower underprivileged communities through unified efforts while encouraging creativity and innovation. 4GS is a new non-profit to help rebuild and rebrand Englewood and other underprivileged communities across Chicago. I am working on building a team to help me work with and inspire our community to work with and inspire themselves. I come from a large musical family and we all share this passion for music and people. We want to use our talents to rally and inspire the people while hosting fundraising events to raise money for immediate community restoration projects. I am also a psychology major and political science minor with hopes to run for alderman in Englewood 2024, then onto mayor in 2028, and onto president in 2032. I’m studying psychology because I love people and want to better understand and help our communities and our country. 4GoodnessSake is the catalyst to the change I want Englewood to start for this country. I want to rebrand Englewood as the black capital of America. I want to invest in our community and create opportunities right here for our people. 4GS is a creative form of community outreach using local parks in Chicago's underprivileged areas to promote local people such as artists, musicians, small business owners, freelancers, etc. Not only do we create awareness and business opportunities for community members, but we also raise money for neighborhood restoration projects that community members themselves help to bring to life. All events are family-friendly and support getting to know your neighbor in hopes of having a stranger-free community because a community is a family. Looking to raise money for our first community restoration project and also volunteers. We want to build wooden garbage bin containers to promote cleanliness and recycling on the south side. Not only would these garbage containers help promote cleanliness, but also give the local artists a canvas to display their works. We want to work in the community getting not only the youth involved but mothers, fathers, grandmothers, and uncles too. We want to start a movement of positivity in Chicago restoring our underprivileged neighborhoods along with also restoring our hope.
