I am going through financial hardship. I am not destitute; I am employed but do not get paid until next Wednesday. There are a few soup kitchens near me, and I am getting by, though it is harder on weekends. If someone could help spare even $10 so I can do groceries and survive till Weds, it would mean a lot. Or a few bucks so I can take the subway to my job and not have to make the long walk in the rain, on days like today. If you're curious, I am male, white, 36.
