Happy Paws Grooming and Daycare is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team! We are located at 5401 W. State St. in Milwaukee, just outside the Tosa Village. Our ideal candidate will excel in building and maintaining customer relationships, getting to know each dog individually, and maintaining a clean & safe working environment that we can all have fun in! Your duties will include, but are not limited to: *Monitoring dogs in and out of play group while recording and responding to displayed behaviors *Building and maintaining relationships with dogs and their parents *Answering phones, emails, and making appointments *Bathing and drying dogs of all sizes *Cleaning and sanitizing facility to ensure health and safety for customers and their pups *Supervising employees to ensure all standards are met on a daily basis *Caring for dogs during their stay (food, water, etc.. and lots of love!) *Making and completing reservations as well as checking out pet parents through Gingr and Square processing *Taking lots of pictures and having fun with the pups! Qualified applicants must have at least 6 months of previous experience working in a pet care facility and at least 1 year of previous experience working in customer service. Shifts are anywhere between 5:30am-8pm, depending on the day of the week. Double shifts have a lunch break from 12pm-2pm every day. (Some weekends are required) Starting pay is between $13-$14 based on experience with the potential of performance-based raise after 90 day probationary period.
