Dear Grump supporters,
I saw your futile attempt at a support rally last Sunday on Golf Road in Schaumburg. I assume that you have a message you want others to hear. Is that correct? That's fine. It's your right to voice your opinion. However, if you want anyone to listen, I would suggest that you make some changes to your approach. As you may have noticed, nobody stopped to listen to you. So...
-----1. Get rid of your Grump flags. I am willing to listen to what you have to say but I am not willing to listen to Trump's ideas. Why you ask? I don't need to tell you why. It is my right to ignore the things he says and the things that you repeat in his image.
-----2. Get rid of your flag that says "F*** BIDEN" and any other forms of disrespect. I refuse to listen to someone who doesn't have any respect for the President of the United States. You may not like him but you should be ashamed of yourselves for publicly displaying such vulgar messages. What kind of message are you trying to send to your children?
-----3. Don't try to intimidate me or scare me. I won't listen to a word you say if you and your children look like at me and my family with hatred in your eyes and a scowl on your face. I refuse to listen to anyone who looks like they want to slam down a couple of beers and then bully me and my family. If you want people to stop and listen, don't try to look like a biker gang who wants to disrupt my community.
And finally, to the woman with the bullhorn who was the speaker for the group: Were you not raised by a loving family? Did your father and mother teach you to hate people instead of teaching you to love people? I assume that you are a mother also. Do you teach your children to hate people? Do you teach your children to bully people? I saw a youth at your rally. Was that your son? Do you really want him to learn that bullying people who don't share your beliefs is the right thing to do?
I've thought about you a lot this past week. I pity you.
