Position Title: Order SelectorLocation: Ontario, CAType of Business: WarehousePay Rate: $17.00 per hour ($16.50 per hour + $0.50 PM Shift Differential) ***10 available positions open for IMMEDIATE hire*** Amazing Opportunity to get paid while giving back to our Armed Services.Position Summary:Order Selectors are responsible for selecting and palletizing product using the Vocollect (Voice Directed) picking system and/or labels accurately within that standard amount of time set while operating safely. This position has a high demand for accuracy, safety, sanitation and speed while meeting production standards of 95% or above with an accuracy rate of more than 99.9%. DUTIES:1. Regular and prompt attendance at all times.2. Select product up to 60 lbs. using the Vocollect (Voice Directed) picking system and/or labels.3. Stack product on pallets.4. Pallet wrapping.5. Stage pallet of product in designated area.6. Retrieve product.7. Use of equipment including Electric Double Pallet Jack.8. Use of Cherry Picker.9. May require the use of other large equipment.10. Responsible for the housekeeping/sanitation of working area.11. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and the ability to sustain heavy lifting over the course of the shift. Requires walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching above head and below knees, pulling, and lifting. Employee will be exposed to high heat working conditions, and extreme cold which may be below zero in certain departments that require special gear. Employee will be exposed to moving machinery during the shift. Must be able to work any shift hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as needed to accomplish the goals of the department and company. SHIFT DETAILS: Associates will be scheduled to be off on Saturday and one (1) additional day off (days Off: Mon/Sat, or Tue/Sat, or Wed/Sat, or Thu/Sat) Job Requirements:● Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent● Experience: 6 months verifiable grocery picking experience● Knowledge: Good reading, writing, math and computer skills● Skills and Abilities: Must have good motor skills, spatial skills and cognitive ability.● Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment (refrigerated warehouse). Other Important Information: ORIENTATION:· Orientation will need to be completed on their first day of employment. Orientations are normally scheduled at 10:00am. TEAR form will need to be emailed to be a minimum of one (1) day prior to the scheduled orientation. This will ensure that the temporary employee has an ID number and is able to clock in and out as of day one· Must be able to be willing to take a background and drug screening.· Need reliable transportation to get to job location, located in Ontario· This is a UNION position.
