Looking for one full-time Maintenance Technician for properties within Sumner & Tacoma, WA. The person must be able to work efficiently and make good decisions. Our Maintenance Technician maintains a positive relationship with all residents and fellow associates to ensure excellent customer service. They will be responsible for the resident and building repairs in areas such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliances. They will perform all other duties as directed by the site Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and Asset Manager. MUST be able to use general maintenance equipment including but not limited to: Hand tools (provided by employee), ladders, required safety equipment, general carpentry and painting, able to solve problems with and repair major appliances, basic plumbing and electrical work (under supervision of O7B Certified Electrician), must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., carry up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 50 lbs. This position requires the ability to utilize an emergency maintenance phone and serve on-call, as scheduled or necessary. A valid Driver's License/reliable transportation is required.
