Apprentice ElectricianLocation: Ceres,CaliforniaJob Type: CommercialPay Rate: $21 per hour will start this month. 4-6 month jobExperience: Electrical, 1 year minimum relevant experience (Required)Commercial experience is preferred Responsibilities: Execute installation of conduit, electrical wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures according to job specifications and local codes.Measure, cuts, bends, threads, assemble, and install electrical conduit.Installation disconnects, metering equipment, inverters, gutter, and conduit.Running/pulling wire and terminating in boxes using a variety of methodsDiagnose and fix malfunctioning electrical systems, apparatus, and components.Qualifications: Very good understanding of the electrical codeBend conduitRead blueprints for light commercial or residential projectsBasic commercial lighting controlsBasic data cabling skills would also be goodProficient knowledge of local codes, construction safety requirements, and the National Electrical Code (NEC)Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.Ability to read and interpret technical documentsAbility to work in a variety of physical environments including on ladders, scaffolds, and rooftops while maintaining or repairing electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. Additional/Education: MC cable commercial experienceHigh School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, or G.E.D Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations.
