Yes, we did fight a civil war against racism but it was the Republicans that fought for African American rights against the Democrats. The Democrats have been racists up until recently where they turned the narrative on the Republicans because they wanted the minority vote....essentially using minorities ONLY for their vote. Once in office, minorities are forgotten. It is really getting old to hear the same drumbeat of negative narratives (against any party) instead of dealing with real issues that concern all Americans.” and...this I think is the same guy from another email account: “ Nazi party? Really? The civil war was about racism? Really? No one has ever fought a war over racism. There’s no money in it. You’re stupid! A free and fair election? Really? And a functioning adult as president. That’s the worst one. Joe Biden has no business being president. The job is going to kill him. He’s not up to the most stressful job on the planet. Liberals don’t give a damn about human beings. My response: If you don’t see the rise of white nationalism within the republican party then you are deaf, blind and dumb in every sense, and probably part of it. (And I absolutely do not believe you are a black libertarian!) The mechanics of how the last 150 years evolved are unimportant, and your blaming is just distraction. The important and urgent issue is where we find ourselves today, and that is on the precipice of neo-nazi fascism at the hands of republican enablers, by the continuation of The Big Lie. It is the republicans that are lying, suppressing voters, ignoring the Constitution, favoring the wealthy and power grabbing. They are the danger to our democracy, and a danger to national health, or there wouldn’t be almost 600,000 dead Americans from the virus they describe as a hoax, and have acted to infect millions through rejection of sound medical protocol to protect others. Continue getting your spoon fed lies from fox, and the trump channels and you will continue to be milked and uninformed by truth, and you will be an active participant in the downfall of our democracy.
