Mountain Woodcare, a small, locally owned exterior woodcare company, is now hiring. We specialize in the restoration and preservation of natural wood sided and log homes, decks and fences. As an Exterior Woodcare Technician, primary job duties include job site set up and tear down, site masking/unmasking, operating a pressure washer, and applying stain with a brush and/or airless sprayer. Prior experience applying exterior stain preferred but not required. Compensation is $18-22 per hour, based on experience, speed and workmanship and will be negotiated after an ability and skill evaluation during a short probationary period. Our job site locations vary from day to day, depending on project status and weather conditions, and are communicated via text or email. Opportunity for further advancement for the right person. Position available starting now and ending late November. Season restarts mid-March. We believe in work hard, play hard approach to life and business. We work hard during the busy season (March through November) and enjoy pursuing other passions and interests (e.g. travel, chasing snow, home remodeling or catching up on Dr. Phil) during the slow season (December through February). Complete shutdown early December thru mid January, part time work usually available in mid-January to early March). If you love cubicles and TPS reports, this probably isn't the right job for you. If you love being outside and getting your hands dirty, this could be good fit. Requirements: *Legal residency with valid social security card *Must pass background check *Valid driver's license and insurable record *Your own reliable and safe transportation to job sites mostly in the Boulder/Nederland area *Smart phone and able to use Google maps *A strong work ethic and enjoy working outdoors *High degree of integrity, honesty, and teamwork *Able to follow and carry out specific instructions, focus and get the work done right the first time *Able to climb a ladder up to 32 feet high and walk on roofs *Physical strength and stamina; able to lift and carry 50 pounds *Professional clean presentation
